Black Crake
Hi
They call me the Black Crake
But let me personally introduce myself,
You see me in any lake or small pond with fringing and floating vegetation from sea level to 3000m, past that we are not found… But wait if climate change effects are realized we might go further up, who knows
As you can see I have a yellow-green bill and red eyes and legs.
Me and my wife look the same. But our boy or girl child (immature ) is browner above and greyer below with a whitish throat and duller bill and legs
We stay in pairs and small groups
